Police Lock Down Dartford Heath Over Brutal Rape Investigation
A large part of Dartford Heath is sealed off tonight as police probe a shocking sex attack. Officers from Kent Police swooped on the Rochester Way site around midday on Friday, December 6, 2019.
Woodland Scene Sealed Off
Uniformed cops taped off a wide stretch of woodland and a nearby path. The Kent Major Crime Unit and CID are leading the investigation. Three patrol cars and numerous officers remain on site.
Woman Assaulted in Early Hours
A Kent Police spokesperson confirmed the probe relates to a rape reported on Thursday, December 5. “In the early hours, a woman was pushed to the ground and raped in woodland near Rochester Way,” they said.
