Heartbroken Family Issues Statement
The family of Saskia Jones has expressed their deep gratitude for the outpouring of condolences since her tragic death on Friday, 29 November. They described Saskia as a “brilliant, caring daughter, grand-daughter, niece, cousin, friend and colleague.”
Thousands Offer Support and Sympathy
The family said they are overwhelmed by messages from friends, family, and strangers alike. “Saskia is held in the highest esteem by many and touched countless lives in a short time,” the statement added. They also praised the Metropolitan Police for their invaluable support during this tough period.
Memorial Details and Donations
A memorial service to celebrate Saskia’s life will take place at 12 noon on Friday, 20 December 2019, at Holy Trinity Church, Old Town, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6BG. Family flowers only, please.
