Murder Probe Launched After Milton Keynes Man Stabbed to Death
Thames Valley Police have opened a murder investigation after a man was fatally stabbed in Milton Keynes today.
Fatal Stabbing in Fishermead Woodland
At around 3.20pm on 11 December, officers and South Central Ambulance Service rushed to a woodland area between H6 Childs Way and Padstow Avenue in Fishermead. Reports say a group of men clashed violently, resulting in a man in his twenties being stabbed.
Tragically, the victim died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Five Men Arrested Over Fatal Attack
Police arrested five men on suspicion of murder. They are all held in custody as the investigation unfolds.
Detective Inspector Mike Roddy from Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit said: “Thames Valley Police is in the early stages of this murder investigation, after a man has tragically died.
“Our priorities are to conduct a thorough investigation and support those affected. The scene remains cordoned off, and we urge the public to avoid the area.”
“If you witnessed anything suspicious near Childs Way or Padstow Avenue around 3.20pm today, please come forward, even if the details seem minor.”
“This incident will have caused concern in the community. Rest assured, forensic exams and witness interviews are underway. We need the public’s help.”
