Medway Drug Dealer Busted with Sawn-Off Shotgun and £5,500 Cash Stash
Nine Years Behind Bars for Wade Guy
A dramatic police swoop in Medway has landed Wade Guy, 33, with a hefty nine-year prison sentence. The Gillingham man was caught red-handed after officers uncovered a block of cocaine and a sawn-off shotgun earlier this year.
Drugs, Guns, and Cash Found Across Two Addresses
During a raid at a Gillingham property in April, cops found Guy inside with two bags of white powder and scales. Further searches revealed two locked cases hidden behind a kitchen kickboard. One case held a 750g block of cocaine. The other hid more drugs, digital scales, and a dangerous sawn-off shotgun.
While in custody, Guy gave up another address in Sittingbourne. A second raid uncovered small quantities of drugs, a Cartier watch, and a cloth bag stuffed with around £5,500 cash hidden behind a mirror.
Police Warn: We’re Coming for You
“Guy initially denied any involvement with drug dealing or having a dangerous firearm in his possession but our investigation and compelling evidence soon proved otherwise,” said Detective Sergeant Jason Booth of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate. “We will continue to proactively target dangerous offenders like Wade. Drug dealing has no place on our streets and the message is clear – we will track you down and bring you to justice.”
