Man Dead After Brutal Stabbing in Didcot Brawl
Early Morning Violence Rocks Mendip Heights
A vicious fight in Didcot’s Mendip Heights left one man dead and two others injured in the early hours of Thursday (9 January). The drama unfolded at 3.46am when three men were hurt during the altercation.
Victim Dies From Chest Stab Wounds
One man, believed to be in his forties, suffered multiple stab wounds and was rushed to hospital. Tragically, he later died. A post mortem confirmed the cause of death was a stab wound to the chest. The victim has not yet been formally identified.
Two Others Hurt, Suspects in Custody
The other two men involved, aged in their twenties and thirties, were also hospitalised but have since been discharged. Police arrested three males on suspicion of murder and attempted murder the following night (10 January). They remain in custody.

A 16-year-old boy from Milton Keynes was released without charge.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Blaik said: “We continue to investigate diligently to find out what happened in Mendip Heights in the early hours of Thursday. I want to reassure the community that our enquiries have not shown any link to any other incidents.
I would like to reiterate my appeal to anyone who has any information to contact the force as soon as possible.”
