Hit-and-Run Horror in West Malling: Police Hunt Dashcam Footage

A black Ford Fiesta smashed into three women on a busy pedestrian crossing in West Malling before fleeing the scene. Kent Police were called just after 4pm on Wednesday, 11 March 2020, as the car sped off down the High Street.

Car Abandoned Hours Later

The driver ditched the Fiesta hours later in Twisden Road, East Malling, around 9.45pm. One victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and is now in stable condition. Another woman received hospital treatment, while the third was treated on-site.

Police Appeal for Crucial Footage

Detective Inspector Richard O’Toole urged anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from Twisden Road and surrounding areas between the incident and 10pm to come forward. He said:

“Our enquiries are ongoing. No arrests yet, but we thank those who’ve helped so far. Any footage could be crucial in cracking this case. Please contact us urgently with any video or pictures.”
