Man Stabbed During Morning Run in Archway Park

Detectives are urgently hunting a stranger who stabbed a man in the leg during a morning jog in Archway’s Whittington Park.

The attack happened around 10.18am on Tuesday, 7 April. The victim, 35, was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after police and paramedics arrived at the scene.

Suspect on the Run

The attacker is described as a black man, about 5ft 8ins tall. He wore a black bandana, burgundy hoodie, and blue jeans. So far, police have made no arrests.

Police Plea: Help Find the Stabber

Detective Sergeant Chris Shepherd of the Central North team said:

“This was an unprovoked attack, and we are doing everything we can to find who is responsible. We need the public’s help.”

He urged anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in Whittington Park to come forward immediately, even if it seems trivial.

“We understand this will worry locals, but tackling violent crime remains the Met’s top priority. We are working around the clock to catch offenders, remove weapons, support victims, and keep communities safe.”
