Teen Charged After Firearms Found in North London Vehicle Stops
Armed cops seize revolver in Blackstock Road swoop
A 17-year-old teenager has been charged with possessing a firearm and ammunition after armed officers stopped two vehicles in Blackstock Road, north London, on Tuesday, 14 April.
The swoop was carried out by Specialist Crime officers investigating gun crime in the area.
Three men arrested, one charged
The police searched the vehicles and recovered a revolver along with ammunition. Three males, aged 17, 19, and 24, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm.
The 17-year-old has since been charged and is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 16 April.
Investigation continues as two men released
The other two men, aged 19 and 24, have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
All suspects were taken to north London police stations following the arrests.
