Five Nabbed in £2 Million Cocaine Bust and Money Laundering Sting

Five suspects have been charged following a major drugs and money laundering crackdown by the National Crime Agency (NCA) and Metropolitan Police.

£2 Million Cocaine Haul Seized in Gravesend Raid

On Tuesday evening (14 April), the joint Organised Crime Partnership (OCP) swooped on a Gravesend location, uncovering cocaine with an estimated street value of £2 million alongside £300,000 in cash. The sting targeted a sophisticated criminal network operating in Kent.

Four Charged – Facing Serious Drug and Money Laundering Counts

  • Philip Spence, 50 (Rochester Road, Gravesend) – charged with possessing criminal property.
  • Nicola Stevens, 50 (Rochester Road, Gravesend) – charged with conspiring to launder criminal proceeds.
  • David Adeniji, 29 (Bromhall Road, Dagenham) – charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and money laundering.
  • Kyle Hills, 31 (St Albans Close, Gillingham) – charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

All four appeared at Barkingside Magistrates on 16 April. Stevens, Adeniji, and Hills were remanded in custody. Spence was bailed ahead of their Woolwich Crown Court hearing on 14 May.

Fifth Suspect Hands Himself In After Police Appeal

Following a public appeal, Luke Coribel, 30 (Gatwick Road, Gravesend) turned himself in on Thursday 16 April. He faces charges of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply, and conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Coribel appeared at Medway Magistrates on 17 April and was remanded in custody until the same Woolwich Crown Court date.
