Man Linked to Three Stabbings Across North London
A 44-year-old man, Evans Innocent, with no fixed address, has been charged following a spate of violent knife attacks in north London. Police tied him to three separate stabbings, sparking fears across the community.
Serious Charges for Evans Innocent
Innocent is set to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 25 April. His charges include:
- Attempted murder on 21 April, Caledonian Road, N7
- Grievous bodily harm (GBH) on 3 April, Trinity Road, N22
- Grievous bodily harm on 7 April, Whittington Park, N19
- Six counts of possession of offensive weapons (knives) in public
- Three counts of theft in a dwelling
- Failure to comply with Sex Offenders Register notification requirements
Timeline of Attacks and Arrest
At about 6.15am on 21 April, a woman in her 40s was stabbed in Caledonian Road, N7. She was rushed to hospital but later discharged.
Innocent was arrested on 22 April in the same area on suspicion of GBH. While in custody, further arrests were made connecting him to April stabbings in Trinity Road and Whittington Park, where male victims suffered knife wounds to their legs.
