Man Arrested After Crossbow Scare in Sheerness
Kent Police swooped on a Sheerness home after reports of a possible weapon on Friday, 1 May 2020.
Armed Officers Respond to Weapon Concerns
Officers, backed by armed patrols, rushed to Jefferson Road at around 5pm following concerns that a man inside might be armed.
Crossbow Seized, No Serious Injuries
A 44-year-old man from Sheerness was arrested and taken into custody. Police seized a crossbow and several bolts. Thankfully, no serious injuries have been reported.
Enquiries are ongoing as police investigate the incident further.
