A young child was rushed to hospital after a nasty hot water scald in Hayes tonight.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
The Kent, Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance swooped on an address in Boughton Avenue, Hayes, shortly after 9.10pm on Saturday.
London Ambulance Service paramedics and police also scrambled to help.
Child Treated on the Spot, Then Flown to Specialist Burns Unit
Paramedics treated the child at the scene for serious burns before airlifting them to a specialist hospital for urgent care.
Accidental Incident Under Investigation
Police confirmed the horrific incident is being treated as an accident, with no suspicious circumstances at this stage.
