Officers are asking for anyone with mobile or dashcam footage from the shooting itself to contact them. Detective Inspector Daniel McInerney, Specialist Crime South, investigates, said: “This is a serious crime and my team and I are determined to find who is responsible.

For that to happen, I am asking anyone with information to come forward. By doing so you can help us keep our communities safe. “Communities have a vital role to play in tackling violent crime and we urge anyone who may have information to tell us, so that we can tackle violence together.

We need information about crime or those who carry a weapon, or those that exploit people.

This intelligence can be used to great effect to not only detect, but also prevent crime, keep London safe and save lives. “Please talk to us or Crimestoppers, which is 100% anonymous.” At this stage there have been no arrests. Enquiries continue. Any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 892/01AUG
