Two Arrested After Brawl in Charing Field
Kent Police swooped after a violent fracas near Downsway in Charing. The force was called to the scene at 6.49pm on Sunday, 9 August 2020 following reports of a disturbance in a field.
Three Hurt, Two Hospitalised
The melee left three people injured, with two rushed to hospital for treatment. Police launched an immediate investigation into the shocking altercation.
Suspects Busted and Bailed
On Wednesday, 12 August, cops arrested a 20-year-old man from Lydd on suspicion of assault and malicious communications. A 45-year-old man, also from Lydd, was nabbed on suspicion of assault. Both suspects have since been released on bail until 3 September as the probe continues.
