Teen Stabbed Near Railway Crossing in East London

Police are hunting for answers after an 18-year-old man was found with serious stab wounds on Larkshall Road, E4. The victim was discovered just before 2.30am on Tuesday, 18 August, close to a railway crossing on Jubilee Avenue.

Life-Threatening Injuries Following Fight

Before paramedics arrived, officers rushed to give first aid to the wounded teen. He was then rushed to an east London hospital, where his injuries are described as life-threatening. It’s believed he was stabbed during an altercation involving three other men near the railway crossing.

Silver VW Golf Spotted at Scene

Detectives are eager to track down a silver car, possibly a VW Golf, seen loitering near the scene around the time of the attack. The vehicle reportedly stayed in the area for several minutes before heading towards Broadway.

“A young man is currently in hospital fighting for his life as a result of this attack,” said Detective Inspector Daniel Thompson. “We urgently need anyone who was around the railway crossing on Jubilee Avenue to come forward if they saw anything suspicious.”

“We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone who spotted the silver car paying close attention to the incident.”

One Arrest Made, Police Appeal for Witnesses

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and is currently in police custody. The crime scene remains cordoned off as investigations continue.
