Police have launched a murder investigation after a brutal stabbing on Long Lane, South East London, left one person dead and three others seriously injured. The violent incident unfolded near the heart of Bermondsey, sending shockwaves through the local community.

Four Victims, One Dead at the Scene

“We were called at 1.04pm today (28 July) to reports of a stabbing on Long Lane, SE1. We sent ambulance crews, advanced paramedics, response officers, and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance.
Four people were treated at the scene. Three were rushed to major trauma centres. Very sadly, despite our crews’ best efforts, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Police Hunt for Suspects as Forensics Swarm Crime Scene
The Metropolitan Police have sealed off the section of Long Lane near Abbey Street and launched a full-scale murder inquiry. Forensic teams are combing the area for clues to crack the motive and identify the attackers.
