Essex Man Assaulted Through Car Window in Shocking Late-Night Attack
Police are hunting a gang who attacked an 18-year-old man driving along Hockley Road, Basildon, late on Thursday night.
Victim Punched Multiple Times Through Car Window
The victim was driving his blue Ford Focus at around 11.10pm on 1 October when he heard someone shout his name. With his window down, a group of men suddenly launched an assault, punching him repeatedly in the face.
He also suffered two small cuts to his arm but didn’t see what weapon was used. After the attack, the suspects fled towards Long Riding.
Victim Treated and Released from Hospital
The man was rushed to hospital and has since been discharged after receiving treatment.
