Milton Keynes Lorry Driver Attacked and Held at Knife-Point During £136K TV Heist
Police are hunting witnesses after a terrifying robbery in Milton Keynes saw a lorry driver assaulted and more than 200 TVs stolen in the early hours.
Lorry Driver Assaulted and Held Hostage
The shocking incident unfolded between 2am and 3am on Tuesday (6/10) around Fen Street, Magna Park, and Sherbourne Drive, Tilbrook. A 58-year-old driver was approached by a gang of around five masked men in black. They dragged him from his cab and punched him in the face, causing a hairline fracture to his eye socket.
At knifepoint, the crooks forced the victim back into the cab. One of the gang then drove the lorry from Magna Park to Tilbrook, holding the man captive during the journey.
£136,000 Worth of TVs Swiped in Midnight Raid
Once at Tilbrook, the gang unloaded over 200 televisions, valued at more than £136,000, into another vehicle — which remains unidentified. They then sped off with the stolen haul.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
Detective PC Jo Hudson from Milton Keynes police said: “This robbery has left a man needing hospital treatment and a large number of televisions stolen. We urge anyone with information or dash cam footage to get in touch.”
