A 16-year-old lad has been charged with murder following a shooting in Hayes. He was remanded in custody on Saturday, 24 October, and is set to face Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 26 October.
Another Man Arrested Amid Murder Probe
Meanwhile, a 46-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
Police Called to Thursday Night Horror
The tragedy unfolded shortly before 10pm on Tuesday, 13 October, when police were called to Austin Road after reports of a shooting.
Officers arrived with paramedics from the london/" title="London" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service to find the victim, Shakur, suffering gunshot wounds. Despite frantic efforts by emergency teams, Shakur was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Men Previously Released by Police
In the days following the shooting, two men aged 31 and 21 were arrested and later released without charge. Police continue their hunt for justice in this tragic case.
