Man Charged with Murder of Woman Found Dead in Seaford Tent

Christopher Cole, 30, from Clun Road, Wick, Littlehampton, was arrested on Thursday, 5 November. He faces charges for the murder of Sarah Clayton at the Buckle caravan and camping site on Marine Parade, Seaford, where she was found dead on 13 May.
Major Crime Probe Underway
Detectives from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team launched a full murder investigation after Sarah was tragically discovered inside a tent at the site. Police confirmed Cole and Sarah were known to each other.
Court Appearance and Appeal for Info
Cole appeared before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 5 November and was remanded in custody. He’s set to face Lewes Crown Court on 9 November.
