Baby Muesli Recall Shocker: Apple Stalks Found in Cow & Gate and Aptamil Packs

Cow & Gate and Aptamil have urgently recalled baby muesli after dangerous apple stalk fragments were discovered in some packs. These stubborn bits pose a serious choking risk to little ones, making the cereals unsafe for babies to eat.

Warnings for Parents: Don’t Feed These Mueslis to Your Baby

This recall follows a slip-up earlier this year when two products were mistakenly put back on shelves after a similar alert. The offending items are stocked at big-name stores like Asda, Sainsbury’s, and more.

Check your cupboards – do NOT give these to your baby:

  • Cow & Gate My First Muesli 10+ months Pack size: 330g Best before: 20 December 2021 and 04 January 2022
  • Aptamil Oats, Raisin & Apple Bircher Muesli 10+ months Pack size: 275g Best before: 16 January 2022

What to Do If You Have These Products

If you’ve bought these mueslis, stop feeding immediately. Return them to the store – no receipt needed – and claim a full refund. For questions or more info, contact the Cow & Gate careline at 0800 977 8880 or Aptamil careline on 0800 996 1000.
