Woman Found Unresponsive in Sunderland – Police Probe Sexual Assault

Just after 1pm on Tuesday, emergency services rushed to King Henry Court, Sunderland, after a woman was found unresponsive outside a property. A passerby discovered her and raised the alarm.

Victim Shaken but Physically Unharmed

Police believe the woman was the victim of a sexual assault. Thankfully, she escaped serious physical injuries but is understandably very distressed. Specialist officers are currently supporting her.

Detectives Issue Urgent Appeal for Witnesses

Officers are hunting for anyone who saw suspicious activity in King Henry Court from Tuesday morning through lunchtime. They’re also keen to hear about anyone loitering on foot or in vehicles around the area in recent days.
