A brazen driver slammed his vehicle into Edmonton Police Station on Fore Street tonight, sparking chaos and a swift police response.
Police Station Evacuated as Fire Crews Step In
The incident unfolded just before 7pm on Wednesday. Fire crews from the London Fire Brigade rushed to the scene to make the vehicle and building safe. Meanwhile, the entire Edmonton Police Station was evacuated as a precaution.
Fore Street Shut Down Amid Police Chase
Fore Street remains closed in both directions to pedestrians and vehicles. Witnesses reported the man sped aggressively as he turned onto the road. “The police came running out the back of the station and one officer chased the driver along the pavement,” said one onlooker.
