Man Arrested Over Shocking Child Sexual Offences
Karl Henry, 33, from Great Ranton, Pitsea, was arrested on Tuesday 18 November after a tip-off to police. Basildon CID and the Management of Sexual Offenders and Violent Offenders team (MOSOVO) swiftly swooped on the suspect.
Serious Charges Laid
Henry now faces multiple charges, including:
- Attempting to cause a child to view sexual images
- Attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity
- Two counts of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO)
Next Court Date Set
He appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court the day after his arrest, on Wednesday 19 November. Henry is due back at Basildon Crown Court on 17 December to face the charges.
