Brutal Bottle Attack: Man Jailed for Stabbing in West Ealing Park
Andre Tucker, 39, from Foxholt Gardens, Brent, has been locked up for five years after a vicious bottle attack in West Ealing. The sentence came at Isleworth Crown Court on 24 November, following Tucker’s guilty plea to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Shocking Midnight Assault Caught on CCTV
In the early hours of 25 June, just after 2am, an alert CCTV operator working for Ealing Council spotted a badly injured man at Deans Gardens. Police were swiftly called and found the 32-year-old victim with deep slices across his neck, underarm, and wrist.
- Officers sprang into action, applying first aid to stem the bleeding and save his life.
- The victim was rushed to hospital, underwent emergency surgery to stop the bleeding, and later cosmetic operations.
- The injuries are life-changing, the victim faces a long recovery.
Uneprovoked Bottle Attack During a Night Out
Detective Sergeant Reda Imane of West Area CID pieced together the violent scene. The victim had been drinking in the park with a friend and Tucker when the attack happened.
“Without warning, Tucker smashed a bottle and stabbed the victim three times,” said DS Imane.
Despite his injuries, the victim escaped and was soon spotted by the vigilant CCTV controller. CCTV footage later helped police track down and arrest Tucker. He refused to comment during questioning and was charged the next day.

DS Imane hailed the swift response from officers and the CCTV team:
“This brutal attack could have been fatal. Thanks to our officers’ quick first aid and the medics’ hard work, the victim survived. The CCTV operator’s immediate action was crucial in getting him help.
“We hope this sentence sends a strong message: we will continue to fight violent crime relentlessly in London and bring offenders to justice.”
