Five Youngsters Caught Binge-Watching in Pub Car Park
Police swooped on a suspicious car parked in Lower Penn, Staffordshire, after reports of five people crammed inside. Officers found the group breaking tier 3 Covid rules by watching a film together in the vehicle.
Illegal Get-Together in Plain Sight
Four of the offenders had even parked their cars in the pub’s car park, blatantly ignoring regulations designed to curb the virus. All five were slapped with Covid fines on the spot.
One Punished Twice: Covid Fine and Traffic Ticket
To make matters worse, one of the drivers was hit with an additional traffic ticket for having an illegal number plate. Police warned such reckless behaviour could delay Staffordshire’s move to tier 2 restrictions.
“We won’t tolerate blatant breaches like this,” officers said, urging locals to report any suspicions.
