Remembering Bethany’s Spark
Bethany, 18, was born at RUH in Bath and grew up in Westbury. She attended Westbury Infants, Westbury Leigh School, Kingdown Secondary School, Brune Park School in Gosport, and finished at Trowbridge College studying childcare.
Known for her love of dancing, funky makeup, social media, and having a laugh with her mates, Bethany was truly one of a kind.
Family Pays Heartfelt Tribute
Her family left a touching statement:
“What can we say about Bethany? All parents say their children were amazing, but Beth was truly special – gorgeous, talented, and with a smile that lit up any room.
She was the life and soul of every party, with a huge heart and kind soul. Her self-taught beauty and hair skills were top-notch, and her eyebrows were always on point.
Beth had the world at her feet and will forever remain a free spirit. Her laugh, smile, and personality touched so many hearts.
Strong-minded and confident, her vibrant spirit will stay with us forever. She was loud, sweet, and lifted everyone’s mood.
She has left a massive hole in our hearts; life without her will never be the same.
Truly loved by all. Fly high, our beautiful butterfly.”
Gratitude to Emergency Services and Supporters
The family thanked first responders and emergency services for their efforts at the crash scene. They also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of kind messages and tributes.
Scores of cards and notes were left at the scene but have now been removed for safekeeping due to bad weather.
