Man Charged Over Gunshot Incident in Horton Heath
A man has been slapped with multiple charges after reports of gunfire at a Horton Heath home sent shockwaves through the community.
Gun Fired at Chapel Drove Address
Police were called to Chapel Drove at around 6.45pm on Sunday, May 16, after a member of the public reported hearing a firearm discharged at a property. The investigation quickly zeroed in on 28-year-old Kieron Kimber from Warburton Road, Southampton.
Kieron Kimber Faces a Battery of Charges
Kimber now faces a slew of serious charges including:
- Assault
- Theft
- Possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence
- Robbery
- Breach of bail
- Section 4 Public Order offence
He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday, June 21.
Others Arrested But Released
Alongside Kimber, police arrested four others:
- 25-year-old man from Eastleigh
- 27-year-old man from Bishops Waltham
- 24-year-old woman from Bishops Waltham
- 26-year-old man from Botley
All were held on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence but have since been released under investigation as inquiries continue.
