Man Approaches Woman and Kids in Leysdown – Police Seek Info
A man reportedly approached a woman and her children on The Promenade, Leysdown, near Manor Way and Grove Avenue, at around 5.30pm on Tuesday 18 May 2021.
He tried to engage with them before walking off on foot.
Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail
A 43-year-old man from Sheppey was arrested the same day in connection with the incident. He has since been released on bail pending further investigation until Saturday 12 June.
Witnesses Urgently Needed
Kent Police are continuing their enquiries, speaking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage. They believe several people who saw the incident have yet to come forward.
