Guildford Class A Dealer Busted and Jailed for Four Years
A 23-year-old Class A drug dealer has been locked up for four years after being caught red-handed dealing from his car in Guildford last November.
Dealer Caught in the Act
Officers on patrol in an unmarked police car spotted two known drug users loitering suspiciously. Moments later, a car pulled up, exchanged a brief interaction, then sped off. The police swiftly stopped the vehicle nearby and found Ishmel Conteh, of London’s Durnsford Road, alone at the wheel.
Drugs Swallowed and Evidence Seized
When questioned, Conteh struggled to speak, clearly hiding something in his mouth. A search uncovered two mobile phones and cash—classic signs of drug dealing. Suspecting swallowed drugs, officers rushed him to Royal Surrey Hospital for treatment before hauling him into custody.
County Lines Messages Seal His Fate
Investigations revealed that the phones contained messages linked to county lines drug supply, confirming his role in trafficking crack cocaine and heroin.
Police Constable Henry Bowles said: “The proactive response from officers from the Western Proactive Team led to a Class A drug dealer being taken off the streets of Surrey. The impact of drugs on our communities is devastating, and we relentlessly work to bring dealers to justice and keep our neighbourhoods safe.”
