Teen Stabbed at Royal Navy War Memorial – Police Hunt Witnesses
15-Year-Old Boy Attacked in Shocking Stabbing
Police were called to the Royal Navy War Memorial on Clarence Esplanade at 9.30pm on Monday, July 19, after reports of a stabbing. Officers found a 15-year-old boy with a serious wound to his chest.
The teenager was rushed to 1 General Hospital and remains in a critical condition.
Two Arrested Over Attempted Murder
A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man from Southsea have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Both are currently in police custody.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area or who may have seen or heard anything to get in touch. They’re especially interested in any mobile phone or dash cam footage captured around the time of the attack.
