The chilling discovery of a woman’s body has rocked Reading after it was pulled from the River Thames.
Tragedy at Wokingham Waterside Centre
Thames Valley Police rushed to the scene at Wokingham Waterside Centre just after 6.30am on Thursday, July 29. Paramedics from South Central Ambulance (SCA) also attended but sadly confirmed the woman was dead.
Police Probe Unexplained Death
The death is currently unexplained. Officers are urgent for answers to how the victim ended up in the water.
Crime Scene Locked Down
The riverbank area and nearby path remain sealed off while detectives carry out their investigation.
