Man Held After Stab Death Outside Belvedere Station

A 27-year-old remains in custody following his arrest on Saturday, 25 September, amid an ongoing murder investigation.

Tragic Stabbing at Belvedere Railway Station

Police were called to Belvedere Railway Station at 10.13pm on Saturday, 18 September, after reports of a man found injured.

Vitaly Skrypniak, 45, from Lviv Oblast, Ukraine, tragically died at the scene despite emergency crews’ efforts.

Cause of Death Confirmed

A post-mortem carried out on Tuesday, 21 September, at Princess Royal University Hospital revealed Mr Skrypniak died from a single stab wound to the chest.

His family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
