A middle-aged man is fighting for his life after a vicious attack on Maidstone Street on Thursday evening. He was airlifted to a London hospital in critical condition, with a police officer accompanying him in the ambulance.
Attack Witnessed by Mother and Kids
A woman out with her two young children witnessed the horrifying scene. She told officers the man was attacked while on the ground and kicked multiple times. One brave bystander, a man with a dog, tried to intervene and stop the assault.
Air Ambulance Crew Save Man’s Life
The air ambulance touched down just after 9pm in nearby Mote Park, where doctors used life-saving equipment to sedate the victim. He was then intubated, secured, and flown straight to London.
Police Lock Down Crime Scene
Kent Police have sealed off Pudding Lane, establishing crime scenes at both ends. Forensic officers were seen collecting DNA, blood samples, and glass fragments near a bus stop. The investigation is ongoing, and police have been approached for comment.
