The victim of a road rage incident in Dartford that resulted in his vehicle window being smashed is to be reimbursed for the damage by the offender.
The incident happened at around midday on Saturday 26 February 2022 between the M25 and the A282 in Dartford. It is reported that a man, who was travelling as a passenger, got out of his car in stationary traffic and smashed the window of the vehicle behind.
The incident was witnessed by a police officer who was also in stationary traffic. The officer arrested the suspect, a man in his fifties from Swanley.
The man agreed to pay for the damaged he caused and has received a caution.
