Man Charged After Brutal Stabbing in Spital Street

Eric Da Silva Soars, 29, from Wharfside Close, Erith, has been hit with a fresh charge of grievous bodily harm with intent following a violent attack.

Stabbing Incident Sparks Police Investigation

The drama unfolded on Saturday 31 August at around 8.19pm when Kent Police rushed to Spital Street after reports of an assault. Emergency crews found two men and a woman with stab wounds.

All three victims were rushed to a London hospital, where they remain in stable condition receiving treatment.

Police Seek Witnesses and Video Footage

“We believe the suspect and victims know each other and are treating this as an isolated incident,” said Detective Chief Inspector Emma Lawry.

“There were lots of people around at the time, and I urge anyone who saw what happened to come forward. In particular, anyone who filmed the attack should get in touch—your footage could be crucial.”

Suspect Set for Court Appearance

Da Silva Soars is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on a date yet to be confirmed.
