Detectives investigating the death of a teenage boy in Chadwell Heath have charged a man with murder – UKNIP
 
Carlton Tanueh, 18, of no fixed address, was also charged with two counts of being in possession of an offensive weapon.

He will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 16 March.

Police were called at 15:55hrs on Monday, 14 March to reports of a stabbing on board a Route 173 bus at High Road, Chadwell Heath.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service.

A 16-year-old boy was found with a stab injury and taken to hospital in a critical condition where he later died.

His family have been informed and while we await formal identification, he has been named as Tyler Hurley.

The investigation is led by detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
