Tragic E-Scooter Crash in East London Claims Teen Girl’s Life
Police were scrambled at 1.35pm on Monday, 21 March, after a van smashed into an e-scooter on Green Street, E13.
The rider, believed to be a 14-year-old girl, was rushed to the scene but sadly died from her injuries.
Driver Held for Questioning, No Arrest Made
Officers and London Ambulance Service quickly attended the horrific crash. The van driver is currently with police but has not been arrested.
Next of kin have been informed, and road closures in the area remain while investigations continue.
