Woman in 50s Found Dead in Highgate Home
A woman in her 50s was discovered with serious injuries inside a Highgate property just after midnight today (Saturday 16 April). Emergency services raced to the scene around 12:30am but despite their efforts, she tragically died in hospital.
Suspicious Death Sparks Triple Arrest
Police are treating the death as suspicious. Three people have been arrested in connection: a man and a woman, both in their 50s, and a man in his 40s. All are believed to be known to the victim.
A cordon remains at the scene while detectives carry out further enquiries.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Phill Gray from the Joint Major Investigation Team said, “The investigation is in its early stages but at this time it would appear that all parties involved are known to one another.
“We would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Highgate last night between the hours of 9pm and 1am who may have seen or heard anything that might assist our investigation to come forward and contact police.”
