Man Arrested After Object Thrown at Woman on Oxford Road
Police were called just before 7pm yesterday following reports that an object had been hurled at a woman on Oxford Road.
Further Trouble on West Park Leads to Arrest
Upon arrival, officers were alerted to another disturbance nearby on West Park. They quickly responded to the scene.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, a public order offence, and two attempted robberies after two women reported an attempt to snatch their mobile phones.
Ongoing Investigation and Appeal for Witnesses
The suspect remains in custody as police continue their enquiries into the incident.
