Hit-and-Run Horror: Cyclist Crashed Into on Busy Havant Roundabout
Yesterday at 4.12pm, shock as a black car smashed into a woman cyclist at the Park Road North roundabout in Havant.
Woman Suffers Injuries as Driver Flees Scene
The cyclist, a woman in her 30s, was heading towards New Road when the car – believed to be a Ford Focus or Fiesta – sped out of the roundabout towards Havant town centre and collided with her.
She suffered minor hip and lower back injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment. The driver did not stop.
Police Appeal for Witnesses After Road Blocked by Crash
The smash caused major disruption, blocking the road completely. Officers say the fleeing vehicle would have stood out, leaving the scene alone in a busy area.
Anyone driving near the Park Road North roundabout at the time is urged to come forward. “Did you see the collision or have dash cam footage?” police ask.
