Teen Charged with Murder After Prom Night Tragedy
An 18-year-old has been charged with murder following the death of a young man on his way home from a school prom.
Patrick Sharp Held for Fatal Attack in Stevenage
Patrick Sharp, also 18, from Cuttys Lane, Stevenage, faces charges including murder, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of Class A drugs. He was remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at St Albans Magistrates’ Court today.
Victim Dies After Late-Night Assault
Police were called to Cuttys Lane at around 11.20pm last Friday after Kajetan Migdal, 18, suffered life-threatening injuries. Despite urgent hospital treatment, Kajetan tragically died in the early hours of Saturday.

“Our thoughts remain with Kajetan’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time. Specialist officers are providing support and we ask everyone to respect their privacy,” said Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit.
“Following a swift arrest, charges have been secured, but we urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.”
Detective Superintendent Michael Trotman added: “We understand this incident will shock the community. If you have concerns, contact your local Safer Neighbourhood Team. It’s vital the case proceeds through the courts without interference.”
