Officers were dispatched to Pemberton Road and Wightman Road, N4, at 11:12 a.m. on Monday, May 30.
A pedestrian had been in a collision with a road cleaning lorry.
Officers, London’s Air Ambulance, and the LAS were dispatched, however the man was pronounced dead on the scene despite paramedics’ attempts.
His family has been notified, and specialised police are continuing to assist them.
The driver of the vehicle pulled over to the side of the road and cooperated with the police inquiry.
The circumstances are being investigated by detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU). They’re especially interested in hearing from any witnesses who witnessed the incident or saw it on CCTV.
