Tragic Crash on A33: Motorcyclist Killed at Rose Kiln Lane Junction
On Thursday, April 14, tragedy struck at around 7.30pm on the A33 southbound near Rose Kiln Lane. A motorcyclist smashed into stationary traffic waiting at the traffic lights.
The rider, a man in his forties, sadly died at the scene.
Police Seek Witness on Harley-Davidson
Detective Constable Nigel Doyle from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit revealed officers want to speak to a Harley-Davidson rider. This motorcyclist was seen talking to the victim moments before the crash and likely witnessed the fatal collision.
“This is a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a man,” said Doyle.

- A man from Caversham was arrested after a heavy police response at a Wokingham pub following reports of an assault.
