Drug Dealer Caught Flushing Cocaine Down the Toilet!

Paul Adams Nabbed in Gillingham Raid

Paul Adams was arrested in Gillingham in October 2020 after the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate swooped on his home in Holly Close. Officers caught him red-handed flushing bags of white powder down the loo. It wasn’t powder fluff—it was cocaine.

That wasn’t all. Cops also found hefty amounts of cash stashed bizarrely in a nappy and a cereal box.

More Drugs and Cash Found at Business Premises

Further searches of Adams’ business spots on Maritime Way and Gads Hill unearthed more drugs, cash, phones, and paraphernalia. In total, police seized 4kg of Class A and B drugs.

Seven Years Inside and £58,166 Forfeited

The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to multiple charges including intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of criminal property. He was locked up for seven years on May 27, 2021.

At a confiscation hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on June 29, 2022, Adams was told to hand over £58,166—his available assets linked to crime.

Police Crackdown on Crime Profits

“No one should be allowed to profit from crime,” said Detective Inspector Dave Godfrey from Kent Police’s Economic Crime Unit. “We’ll keep working relentlessly to recover every penny criminals like Adams make illegally.”

Under the Asset Recovery Incentivisation Scheme (ARIS), seized funds are shared between police forces and the Home Office to boost law enforcement.

This is a clear signal to anyone tempted to cash in on crime—you’ll be busted and stripped of your dirty money.
