Thanet Police Have Charged A Suspected Drug Dealer Following A Search Warrant

An investigation by officers from Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team, a suspected Thanet dealer has been charged.

On Monday, July 25, 2022, investigators executed a search warrant at an address in Basildon, where they detained and arrested a man.

Officers also seized heroin and cannabis, as well as mobile phones and approximately £7,000 in cash.

Jason Willis, of Cherrydown East, Basildon, was later charged with being involved in the supply of crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis, possessing heroin with intent to supply, possessing cannabis with intent to supply, and possessing criminal property, namely the seized cash.

Mr Willis, 34, appeared in Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 26, and was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on August 23.
