Suspected Thanet Drug Dealer Nabbed in Basildon Police Raid

Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team have hit a major blow against drug trafficking after arresting a suspected dealer linked to Thanet.

Basildon Raid Nets Heroin, Cannabis, and £7,000 Cash

On Monday, July 25, officers swooped on a Basildon address, detaining 34-year-old Jason Willis from Cherrydown East. The raid uncovered heroin, cannabis, multiple mobile phones, and a hefty £7,000 in cash.

Willis Faces Multiple Drug Charges Ahead of Crown Court Hearing

Willis has been charged with supplying crack cocaine, heroin, and cannabis, as well as possessing these drugs with intent to supply. He also faces charges of possessing criminal property, relating to the seized cash.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 26, and has been remanded to Maidstone Crown Court for a hearing on August 23.
