The drama unfolded around 12.25pm on Monday, August 1, 2022, on the London-bound carriageway between Junctions 2 and 1. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.
Police Chase Leads to Shocking Seizure in Wrotham
Officers, initially stopped for an unrelated reason, spotted a car linked to the crash and tailed it. The vehicle was eventually stopped on the A20 in Wrotham, where police seized a stash of cocaine roadside. They also uncovered a knuckleduster.
Devon Man Busted and Charged
Anthony Daniel, 45, from Nut Bush Lane, Torquay, Devon, was arrested. He faces charges including possession of a class A drug, carrying an offensive weapon, and driving while intoxicated.
Daniel has been granted bail ahead of his court hearing at Sevenoaks Magistrates on Monday, August 15.
