Massive Firefighting Effort Underway
Six fire engines have been deployed to the scene as crews battle to douse the flames and stop the blaze from spreading further. Despite recent rain, the heath remains dangerously dry and prone to fires.
Teen Arson Suspected
Eyewitnesses claim a group of teenagers were seen setting fires in the woodland just minutes before the huge blaze took hold. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far.
Kent Fire and Rescue have been contacted for comment as the investigation continues.
