Heartbreaking Tribute from Mother

On the day of his funeral, Kaius’s mum shared a moving tribute:

“Kaius – loved so much by all that knew him. Kaius was the 6’7” teen who couldn’t be missed, not just for his height but for the light he carried. He lifted others with his generous heart and listened to all, no matter how small the issue.

“Kind even in the face of unkindness, Kaius was a beacon for many. Caring, talented, determined, and funny – that was him. His wild, extravagant stories as a child were full of creativity and excitement. On the dancefloor, his passion for life shone bright.

“He was fiercely himself yet deeply sensitive to others. His love for family and friends was clear every day. A talented guitarist who jammed with friends and played soothing tunes for mum after hard days.

“A loyal friend in the hot tub, a compassionate nephew dropping by for a chat, a kind cousin always willing to fix cars. A committed engineering student and dedicated worker, often the first to arrive and last to leave. A comforting presence in ‘The Club’ where he worked.

“The love we hold in our hearts for him fills us with gratitude. We were privileged to share these years with him as a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and above all… a friend.

“Love and miss you always.”
