Knife-Wielding Duo Break Into Woman’s Home in Broad Daylight
At 1.24pm on Tuesday, 15 November, a 22-year-old woman faced a terrifying ordeal when two men knocked at her door and forced their way inside her home.
Robbers Demand Cash at Knifepoint Before Fleeing
One of the intruders held the victim at knifepoint and demanded money in the kitchen. The pair fled the scene without stealing anything. Luckily, the woman was unharmed but shaken up by the ordeal.
Police Hunt for Two Men After Shocking Home Invasion
Detectives from the South West Command Unit are chasing multiple leads. Detective Sergeant Cerith Jones said:
“The community will be appalled by this awful incident and I know many people will want to reach out and help us identify them.
I urge local people to please check your doorbell and dash cam footage for any material that could assist us. If you were in the vicinity and saw two men acting suspiciously, or one away, we want to hear from you.
The young woman was terrified and it is imperative that we catch the men responsible.”
Extra Patrols Launched to Reassure Shaken Locals
The police will be stepping up patrols in the area over the coming days to boost community safety.
